3. Being undefeated means nothing unless Michigan wins the national championship

There can be some truth to this, but getting to the lucky number 13 for the first time in history means something.

The Wolverines have never done this before because they have never played this many times in a season before. That makes this one a slight overreaction. Michigan football is in rarefied air that doesn’t happen often.

This moment in time shouldn’t be taken for granted and should be cherished. This is the reason why the sport is played and loved by so many.

Doing it almost 25 years to the exact date that they did it last time really puts things into perspective. Only a little bit more time and three teams stand between Michigan and its ultimate fate.

The players promised last season that they would be back in the same place and they are. Now they have to do what they couldn’t in 2021 and win one and advance to Los Angeles to be 60 minutes away from having it all.
