2. Donovan Edwards could one day be linked to Tom Harmon

It’s safe to say that Michigan is loaded at the running back position. They have showcased that wealth all season long.

Both Blake Corum and Edwards can start for anyone in the country. Most guys wouldn’t want to battle the competition nowadays, but these two are quite unselfish and feed off of one another.

Corum could have won the Heisman if he didn’t get injured, but we’ll never know what could have been. Edwards will be one of a few that the experts will hand-pick to take the prize home in 2023. If Corum goes pro, then Edwards will be the main focal point of Harbaugh’s run-it-down-your-throat run-heavy attack.

When all is said and done though Edwards may be the next guy to do what Tom Harmon did 80 years ago. He has everything you need to get it done, but time will tell if he can accomplish such a hefty feat. To be mentioned in the same breath as Harmon already is something he can marvel in and help him become Michigan’s fourth Heisman winner.
