2.  Michigan blew a highly valuable opportunity for March

This loss is a tough pill to swallow for a group that was up double digits on the third-ranked team in the country. They could have put one of the most noticeable wins on their young resume that could have helped them massively in March. Meanwhile, Virginia is a prime candidate to be near the top of the rankings all season long.

They already took down No. 5 Baylor and Illinois and will get a chance to knock number one Houston from the ranks of the unbeaten. They’ll be in the discussion because of those wins and the fact that they still have to go through the gauntlet that is the stacked ACC conference. They’ll see North Carolina twice and host Duke in February.

Michigan has to regroup and get ready for a business trip, not a vacation, to London. It will be a must-see matchup between Hunter Dickinson and Oscar Tshiebwe.

Kentucky seems more beatable than they did at the beginning of the month with no real standout win on their resume either.
