Gut reactions, highlights as Michigan Football dominates Ohio State
Michigan football proved that it’s the class of the Big Ten now as the Wolverines stomped Ohio State in the second half.
Culture matters and it showed that Michigan football has championship culture on Saturday as the Wolverines absolutely crushed the favored Ohio State Buckeyes once again.
Everyone expected a close game and it was close for three quarters. Yet, in the second half, Michigan football willed itself to a 45-23 victory.
The run started with J.J. McCarthy’s third touchdown pass in the second half and early in the fourth quarter, he scored his fourth total touchdown on a three-yard run.

Donovan Edwards ripped off two touchdown runs of more than 70 yards in the fourth quarter. J.J. McCarthy played like an absolute legend and for the second year in a row, the Wolverines have conquered their arch-enemy.
It’s hard to fathom because, for much of the first half, Ohio State had the upper hand. That’s until Cornelius Johnson broke for a 70-some-yard touchdown.
His second touchdown put the Wolverines in front 17-13, but a C.J. Stroud to Marvin Harrison Jr. bomb gave the Buckeyes the lead at the half 20-17.
In the second half though, Michigan proved once and for all, it’s the better team. The Wolverines outscored Ohio State 28-3 in the second half and dominated.
