“The Game” between Michigan football and Ohio State should be one of the best in a while and here is a look at key questions facing both sides.

This past week in college football was… weird. We saw each of the top four teams struggle, and all four could have legitimately lost. But, great teams find ways to win those gut-checking games, and all four escaped. Don’t ask Tennessee fans about their game.

Both Michigan football and Ohio State were looking for a chance to intimidate the other. Last year, Michigan beat Maryland 59-18, and Ohio State beat Michigan State, the only team Michigan had lost to, 56-7 the week before The Game.

Last year, both teams seemed like they were on top of the world before The Game.

This year, the script has flipped. While it’s true that every top team typically has one or two games that are way closer than they should be, it’s not what you want to have happen before the biggest game of the year.

Both Michigan football and Ohio State have a ton of questions going into The Game. The stakes couldn’t be higher, as the winner clinches an undefeated regular season and a spot in the Big Ten Championship game.

Despite the poor performances by both teams, this is arguably the most hyped up version of The Game since 2006, when the 11-0 Buckeyes beat the 11-0 Wolverines 42-39 in Columbus.

Understanding that this is a HUGE game, let’s get into some of the biggest questions surrounding each team going into The Game.
