Will Michigan cover the spread?

To be honest, the only thing that should be stopping Michigan now is how many points they will beat their opponents by.

None of us think Michigan will lose to Nebraska or Illinois, so the only thing the fans can worry about now is style points.

Michigan is currently (as of today, Friday November 11th) favored by 31 points at home over Nebraska. That spread has actually gone up one or two points since last weekend.

With Michigan’s tendency for slow first halves, and Jim Harbaugh’s tendency to not want to play his starters in longer than absolutely necessary, I don’t know if I would take the over on this game.

I know Michigan beat Rutgers by 35 points last week and covered the spread, but some semi-fluke things did happen (the three interceptions in like a 2-minute span) that allowed Michigan to pile up the score rather quickly.

I don’t know that that happens this weekend, as 31 points is quite a large spread, but I still think Michigan will win rather comfortably, by 24-28 points. If I was betting, I would take the under on this one. Of course, I could (and hope to be) wrong on this one.

My final score prediction is 38-10, Michigan.
