Competitive for a half

Nebraska football has played better under Mickey Joseph. The Huskers are still just 2-4 in that stretch but if Thompson didn’t get hurt, that record could be different.

Nebraska has actually led or been tied for the lead in each of those six games. Nebraska has also scored on their first drive in four of those six games.

So my point is that Nebraska isn’t going to lay down. Players in that program are desperate to go to a bowl game and a loss to Michigan ends that possibility.

Joseph will have the Huskers ready to go and they will play hard. I even think Nebraska will score once or twice in the first half and be within two scores by halftime.

Michigan wants to run the ball and it sounds like Nebraska wants to shorten the game too. So it could be a recipe for a close game before the offensive and defensive lines take over in the second half as Minnesota’s did last week.
