Brad Robbins has a busy night

We might be stretching for predictions a little bit here but this matchup looks pretty simple from a Wolverines’ perspective. Blake Corum is going to do what he does and I expect both the red-zone offense and J.J. McCarthy to be more efficient.

There will be a couple of pass plays over 20 yards and overall, the game will probably remind us a little bit of Iowa except the Scarlet Knights aren’t quite as good on defense.

They are good enough to force a couple of punts though and considering Michigan football has punted just once in the last two games, Brad Robbins will be busy punting two or three times Saturday night.

Michigan football vs Rutgers score prediction

I don’t see this game being like the 78-0 beatdown it was back in 2016 for a night game. I think this will be more like the 2018 game. The Wolverines ended up winning the game 42-7 but it was 7-7 at the end of the first quarter and 21-7 Michigan at the half.

This will be similar to that. Rutgers is going to struggle to score and I don’t see them scoring more than twice. Michigan will wear them down as the game does on and I’m going to say the Wolverines cover the spread and kick one red-zone field goal in a 41-10 win.
