J.J. McCarthy throws multiple TD passes and no interceptions

If all goes as planned for Michigan football, J.J. McCarthy won’t have to be the star of this game for the offense. But if you’re Michigan State, you’d rather see him throwing it more than Corum and Edwards running it at you.

The Spartans’ defense is getting healthy and I think they are going to sell out (somewhat) to stop the run game. McCarthy hasn’t been perfect this season. Yet, he is leading the country in completion percentage and facing a pass defense that ranks 11th or worse in every major statistical category when it comes to pass defense.

I don’t know that McCarthy will throw for 300 yards but I do see him having one of his better days as a Wolverine. I don’t believe he has forgotten about that fumble and he will want to redeem himself.

McCarthy played well at times against Penn State and was a little shaky. But after a bye week, I think he’ll be at his best and will toss two touchdowns without throwing an interception.
