Take advantage of the Big House

This game is a night game for a reason. Michigan wanted their fans to be at their best against the Spartans. With Mike Sainristil and other Wolverines pushing for a “blue-out” in the Big House, the crowd is going to have some fire for this one.

The crowd is going to cheer as long as Michigan football gives them something to cheer for. It’s key that this team comes out firing and tries to steal some early momentum. An early defensive stop followed by a touchdown could threaten to put the game out of reach before the end of the first quarter.

We saw on full display against Penn State how momentum combined with the energy of the crowd can quickly put a game out of reach. Down 17-16, Donovan Edwards ran for a long touchdown. As someone who was in the stands, I can tell you — that next defensive possession the crowd was as loud as it had been all game.

dark. Next. 5 bold predictions for Michigan's last five games

The Wolverines were able to take advantage of that and grow their lead. It will be vital that the Wolverines use the crowd in their favor for this one too. It’s going to be quite the show ladies and gentlemen, enjoy it.
