Blake Corum’s final numbers

Blake Corum has 906 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns through seven games this season but in Big Ten play, he’s been dominant and has at least 120 yards in every game.

Corum leads college football in rushing touchdowns and I think he’s got a really good shot of getting to New York for the Heisman Trophy ceremony.

In order for that to happen, Corum is going to need to keep putting up big numbers and I think he will. I don’t see anyone holding him under 100 yards this season, especially with how much Jim Harbaugh is committed to giving him the ball.

Ohio State might out-score Michigan football at the end of the season, but I don’t see the Buckeyes or anyone else stopping this run game completely. The game against Iowa with 167 yards was the worst outing of conference play and it’s my belief that Corum will rush for over 1,500 yards and 20 rushing touchdowns.

Corum needs 118 yards per game to hit 1,500 and frankly, that’s probably not that bold of a prediction.
