How are you feeling about Michigan Football during bye week?

So far this season, Michigan football has checked off every box possible, as they are 7-0, after just completely throttling Penn State 41-17, at home.

Coming into the season, most “expert” analysts had Michigan as a 10-win team at the very best, but week by week, as Michigan football keeps winning, those predictions are starting to seem more and more wrong.

Personally, before the start of the season, I had Michigan as a 10-11 win team as well, because I thought Penn State would be a lot better (which, technically they still can be), and possibly Ohio State was a toss-up game.

Now, I have to recalibrate my thoughts, because Michigan seems like they are on a mission this year, to prove that last year wasn’t a fluke, and the players want to get more than a taste of a playoff appearance.

The players don’t just want a sip of the drink. They want the entire thing.

The defensive line has been much more dominant in recent weeks, Michigan’s offensive line is really starting to round into form for the stretch run, Blake Corum looks like a Heisman contender, and Michigan gets a bye to rest up, recharge, and get through the final stretch.

We still haven’t even talked about Michigan’s passing game that much. J.J. McCarthy has been hinting at a more explosive passing attack for the last few weeks, and we might see this out of the bye.

Basically, Michigan’s offense still hasn’t hit its ceiling yet and still has another gear or two to go, which has to make you even more excited.

As I mentioned, I’ve had to recalibrate my thoughts and predictions a little bit, as I was a little pessimistic, because I wanted to make sure Michigan could actually continue its dominance.

The team still has five games left, but so far, so good.
