2. Michigan football bullied the Nittany Lions from start to finish
Besides a pair of plays in Penn State’s favor in the second period, Michigan had the Nittany Lions right where they wanted them all along.
After Penn State went down 13-0 Sean Clifford gashed the defense to set up six and the pick-six by Curtis Jacobs gave the Nittany Lions an accidental lead just before the break.
They regained it at 17-16 and never scored a single point again. Michigan outscored them 25-0 afterward. It was an emphatic statement that this one should have never been that tight in the first 25 minutes or so. Michigan possessed the rock for 42 minutes, compared to just 18 for Penn State. That is a recipe for a bludgeoning of a win for Michigan.
Michigan is damn good. Some of you are just going to have to deal with that. So great for college football.

7.6 yards per rush on 55 attempts. That says it all against a top-five defense coming into Ann Arbor. Sean Clifford on completed seven passes and his offense had one first down in the opening half thanks to his legs.
Drew Allar replaced him in the fourth quarter and couldn’t muster any offensive progress either.
