Special Teams: B+

Normally a blocked kick is going to be a big downgrade but it was just one and Jake Moody still connected on another field goal. Plus, Morris blocked a kick so it kind of canceled itself out.

A.J. Henning also had a punt return of 38 yards which is a flip of field position and Brad Robbins continued to be just spectacular punting the ball. He averaged 45 yards per punt on three punts in the game with a long of 58. He also down one inside the 20. Indiana returned one punt for eight yards and one kickoff for 20.

Coaching: B+

Jay Harbaugh and the special teams did a stellar job, although I’m starting to get a little worried about the field goal operation.

Not really worried, it just doesn’t seem as automatic. Jesse Minter had a really great second half and his defense was stout. I can’t nitpick too much but the Indiana screen game shouldn’t have been that effective. Minter’s pressure packages were also timely and effective.

My biggest criticism is the conservative gameplan on offense. Michigan football has a five-star quarterback and it needs to open things up earlier in games. The Wolverines waited until the second half and that was too long.
