Jake Moody has a busy night

Despite a rare miss last week, Jake Moody is one of the best kickers in college football and he’ll have a key role to play Saturday in Iowa.

Michigan should be able to move the ball against Iowa. But scoring in the red zone is always difficult and since points will be at a premium in this matchup, I can see a more conservative approach by the Wolverines leading to 3-4 field goals.

It wouldn’t shock me if both teams made at least two or three field goals. It just has that kind of field to me. Yet, I definitely see Moody connecting on three field goals in a game where special teams will be even more important.

Michigan football vs Iowa prediction

I’m sticking with my earlier prediction this week of a Michigan win. The Wolverines are just too talented and McCarthy will be the difference as will the special teams. Michigan is elite in that area and it will help them leave Iowa City with a win.
