Don’t commit unforced errors

This is in harmony with what we just mentioned regarding the offense. But it also applies to the defense.

Listen: Iowa is no juggernaut. But they sure do look like one when they can capitalize on your unforced errors.

The Hawkeyes would love nothing more than to sit back, watch Michigan football go three-and-out consistently, have a turnover or two, and miss assignments on defense.

They can be so frustrating at times that opponents are known to have frustration penalties from time to time — cheap shots or late hits that have no reason happening.

The old saying, “cooler heads prevail”. Well, that sure as heck applies this week.

Iowa is not talented enough to win this game in a dogfight. But if the Wolverines give them what they want and commit unforced errors, they can certainly win this game.
