1. Blake Corum had himself a field day

On his second carry of the day Blake Corum made a house call in route to a career high five touchdown performance. That puts him in elite company with Ron Johnson and Hassan Haskins. He only had 12 carries on the afternoon, but definitely made the most of them. During the first three weeks he hasn’t carried the ball more than 13 times and hasn’t needed too.

Without Donovan Edwards available a total of 10 backs toted the rock on Saturday. Guys like Danny Hughes and Henry Donohue got to see action and can say they played in a Michigan football game. Altogether the offense rushed for nearly 200 yards and combined for six of the eight touchdowns in the victory.

At quarterback, eight young men got to call a snap at Michigan stadium. Seven of them completed a pass as well. Brandon Mann, Jayden Denegal and Andy Maddox all got to take part in the demolishing of UConn. It’s something that they will get to remember for the rest of their lives as they strive for more work.
