Will Michigan play their starters more into the second half?

Lastly, I think Michigan football should play its starters a little more into the second half. Jim Harbaugh has been pulling the starters after halftime to not risk injury and because the halftime lead has been so large, but I want that to change this game.

Michigan plays Maryland after UConn, and the starters need to keep building their chemistry with one another and keep building the stamina back in preparation to play an entire game.

Plus, JJ could really use the snaps. He only played a half against Hawaii as a starter. He needs to get as many reps as he can with the starting offense, to get the feel of everyone before he takes the field against a much better opponent in Maryland.

Plus, all of this will get Michigan back used to doing their post-halftime warm-ups and stretches. It will get the starters back into their routine for Big Ten play.

Obviously, JJ doesn’t need to play the entire game or any of the starters for that matter, but he and the starters do need to play 3-4 more series out of halftime just to completely get back into the swing of things.

All in all, I expect another non-competitive blowout, and hopefully, we see some of the questions I had for the team answered one final time prior to Big Ten play. Go Blue!
