5 Questions for Michigan Football heading into UConn
Will Michigan cover the spread this weekend?
Although a lot of people took the over on the massive 52-point spread for Michigan, unfortunately, they didn’t quite cover, closing with a 46-point victory. Michigan football has not quite been able to shut out its inferior opponents so far this season.
This weekend, Michigan is a 47-point favorite over UConn. I’m sure the coaches and players don’t like to see any points given up, as they all want a shutout, and with this being the last nonconference game, you have to think Michigan’s defense will come out even more motivated to finish the job.
What I would like to see is for Michigan to cover this huge spread, but also for Michigan to shut out UConn. Doing it won’t mean anything in terms of impressing the AP Poll voters, but it should definitely give Michigan’s defense more confidence heading into Maryland week.
