1. J.J. McCarthy has consummated the quarterback discussion

At this point, even a blind person knows that McCarthy is the undeniable starter moving ahead in 2022. He was brilliant, despite the one dropped pass. Three of his 11 completions went to the house. His impact on this offense in the first two weeks is why he will get the nod against UConn and the rest of the way barring any unforeseen mishaps.

When Cade McNamara came in the difference was crystal clear. He did not lead any drives that finished with points. He got sacked a couple of times and threw a bad interception that was intended for Andrel Anthony. Still, his impact on this program cannot be questioned as he now transitions into one of the top backups in the country.

Davis Warren saw time in this one too as the third quarterback. He had one memorable completion and forged the unit to a couple of scoring drives. As his incredible story continues to grow, so does his underdog legend status within the Michigan fanbase.
