Wolverines won’t look ahead

The only possible scenario that I’ve been able to come up with in envisioning a win for Hawaii banks on the fact that Michigan is simply just tired of the non-conference and ready to get into the Big Ten season.

I don’t expect that to happen and neither should you.

Michigan beat up on a Colorado State team last Saturday in week one, and frankly, that was a game (that while they might not have lost anyway) that could’ve been a heckuva lot closer than 51-7. The reason it was such a blowout?

The Wolverines aren’t going to look ahead, and look past any opponent.

Hawaii will have their full and undivided attention for 60 minutes on Saturday night in Ann Arbor, Michigan. That doesn’t sound good if I’m a Warriors player, coach, or fan.

This is a perfect opportunity for J.J. McCarthy to show his mettle and for the offense to lock into their groove. As well as the defense led by first-year Co-Coordinators, Jesse Minter and Steve Clinkscale to iron out the issues that need work.

I don’t want to label this a glorified scrimmage. But you know what? It might as well be.

dark. Next. 3 Keys to beating Hawaii

Michigan football will win Saturday and win big. And it’ll be because they are locked in, ready to roll, and won’t look ahead.
