How many rushing yards will Corum and Edwards get?

If there was another slightly negative thing to point out or nitpick about the CSU game, it was that Corum and Edwards only had ‘solid’ games rushing the football.

Both failed to hit the century mark because Michigan football didn’t really run the football as much as they usually do, as Corum and Edwards got fewer carries.

CSU was smart. They knew if they had any chance, they had to try to stop Michigan’s rushing attack first. They stacked the box and at least slowed down Michigan’s rushing attack a little bit.

Hopefully, this weekend results in two or more Michigan tailbacks with 100+ yards rushing.

How many passing and rushing yards will JJ McCarthy have?

At this point, we all know this game is J.J. McCarthy’s game to win to take over the starting spot at quarterback.

Trying to look at it and be fair to Cade, as even though not every missed throw was on him, even still, his game was bad, and the Michigan offense was noticeably sluggish with him in, compared to fast and up-tempo when JJ was in.

It just gets me so excited thinking about the things we might see under the lights this Saturday from McCarthy.

He was born to play (and shine) in big moments, and this moment, aside from a night game against a highly-ranked opponent, is the perfect opportunity for him to shine and show the college football world some of his magic.

I think JJ will air it out more in this game because we all already know he can run.

He would be the fourth fastest QB in the NFL right now based on his 4.5 40-yard dash time (behind only Kyler Murray, Lamar Jackson, and Justin Fields) so it’s time for him to show off his cannon of an arm.

Overall, I expect him to finish with 250-350 yards passing, 6TDs (yes, I said 6!) and around 50-60 rushing yards again, although it’s very possible he could break one or two long ones for a touchdown and finish over the century mark rushing the football.
