Michigan Football: 3 reasons Wolverines will beat Colorado State

2. Wolverine offense will overwhelm the Ram defense
Tavian Brown. You’ll want to remember that name.
An “A” graded player according to Pro-Football Focus and a likely future NFL pick, Brown leads a Ram defense that looks to have an identity.
Outside of Brown, however, there are a ton of questions on this Ram defense. A defense that led the way to a 3-9 record last season.
Simply put: the Rams are rebuilding on defense.
Michigan on the other hand? The Wolverines have an identity on both sides of the ball. There is no rebuilding to be done.
The Wolverine offense — an offense predicated on physicality, with the playmakers to be explosive — will surely exploit the aforementioned “rebuilding” Ram defense.
A now fully healthy Blake Corum and the electrifying Donovan Edwards look to lead the way with their “lightning and lightning” 1-2 punch. And against this defense that will likely succeed at a high level.
The passing attack, no matter who is taking the snaps, will have time to make things happen down the field and while the Michigan offense will be challenged many times this year, but this week isn’t going to be one of them.
