2. Don’t let the Ram passing attack be explosive

The Colorado State passing attack wants to take the will of every secondary they play.

An offense predicated around no desire at all for a run game, the Rams do possess a challenge to a Michigan football secondary that loses key studs from last season in Vincent Gray, Brad Hawkins, and Daxton Hill.

This will be a good early test for players like Gemon Green, Rod Moore, and Mike Sainristil who are expected to fill those roles.

In particular, the key to stopping the CSU offense, is keeping the passing game in front of you, and obviously getting after the quarterback as well.

If the Wolverines can keep their opponent’s passing game from taking chunks, and keep them nickel and diming all game, then they’ll be in good position to close the deal.
