Ronnie Bell is back for real

It’s hard to believe that Michigan football won the Big Ten Championship last season without its best offensive playmaker.

Bell was incredibly dynamic against Western Michigan before injuring his knee. We didn’t know exactly what his status would be by fall camp but it’s clear the injury isn’t an issue.

We have seen images of Bell winning jump balls in practice, without wearing his knee brace and Jim Harbaugh also reported that he’s even testing in speed drills faster than before his injury.

What’s really crazy is that Michigan returns all of its top wideouts, plus Bell, who I feel is going to hit 1,000 yards receiving this season. I thought Andrel Anthony could make a run at it, and still do, but Bell is back and he will lead the team in yards and receptions.

People seem to forget that Aidan Hutchinson was coming off a serious injury in 2020 and he nearly won the Heisman in 2021. Bell probably won’t make it to New York, but he’s going to be one of the best receivers in the Big Ten. That I can guarantee.
