It seems every year, there is always one national “analyst” or “expert” who says something that rubs Michigan football fans the wrong way.

For the longest time, it was Paul Finebaum, but he has been very quiet this off-season, finally letting up on Michigan football after Harbaugh finally beat OSU and made the playoff.

Well, this year is no different, unfortunately. Michigan got Paul off their back, but a new analyst has taken the spotlight, this time with his horrendous takes about why he left Michigan off his top-25 list.

“Analyst” gives a comical reason for not ranking Michigan in top 25

Listen, I don’t like Paul Finebaum. Probably none of us do, but at least some of what he said made sense sometimes. Paul could only beat up on Michigan because, for the most part, he was right for the longest time. Harbaugh couldn’t beat Ohio State, and he didn’t have a playoff appearance.

Up until last year, obviously. But this new analyst (I shouldn’t say new because he’s been around for a minute, but is less known) RJ Young, makes Paul’s Michigan hot takes seem like a walk in the park.

The video I am going to imbed below is over six minutes long, but you probably won’t want to listen to it for more than a minute or so at the very most. I watched the entire vid and would do anything to get those six minutes of my life back.

Our own Chris Peterson wrote an article about this guy a few days ago, but this is RJ’s rationale for leaving Michigan completely off the top-25 list, in video format instead of through an article.

There’s a world where you can convince me Michigan isn’t a top-10 team yet (would be hard but you could maybe convince me), but not even in the top 25, now that’s too much.

Ok, enough talk. Here’s the video. Watch at your own peril.
