Darrius Clemons

While there are more freshmen likely to make an impact on the defensive side of the ball, simply due to the fact that the offense is basically loaded across the board, one dude that will work his way into the mix is Darrius Clemons.

Harbaugh and the offensive coaches have all drooled over the potential of not just Clemons but Amorion Walker and Tyler Morris too.

Morris is forgotten about, yet he’s an elite talent. He tore his ACL but we’ve seen how Ronnie Bell has recovered and once Morris is healthy, he’ll be a top-100 caliber player again. He also played with J.J. McCarthy in high school.

Walker is another freak and at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, and super athletic, I don’t know why he wasn’t ranked higher. Alabama offered him but I believe the Crimson Tide wanted him as a DB.

The Wolverines recruited him as a DB for a time too before taking him as a wideout. That will prove to be a wise move. It also will prove fortunate that Michigan football was able to win over Clemons late in the 2022 class because the dude has 4.3  speed and will make at least a few eye-opening plays this season.
