Erick All

Thanks to his touchdown reception against Penn State last season, Erick All will always be one of my favorite Wolverines.

That was such a huge play. As I wrote the other day, I don’t think Michigan football beats Ohio State if it doesn’t win in Happy Valley. The comeback and the confidence that was gained proved essential in the run towards the Big Ten championship.

The fact that All is even back for the 2022 Michigan football season is a surprise. I was sure he was going to declare for the draft and I believe he would have been a day-two pick this year.

All has tremendous hands and last season hauled in 38 receptions (team-high) for 437 yards and two touchdowns. He’s also really progressed as a blocker and looks NFL-ready right now.

With two steady quarterbacks, and a team loaded with talent at running back and wide receiver, it would be easy to forget about All and when defenses do it this fall, he’s going to make them pay.

For me, a season similar to Jake Butt’s in 2016, isn’t out of the question.
