Insane offensive talent

Whether it’s McCarthy or McNamara starting at quarterback, Michigan football is loaded with offensive talent and it’s at every single position.

Whether it’s quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, or offensive line — guard, center, tackle — you can make a case for Michigan football to have an All-Big Ten performer at each spot.

That’s not hyperbole. Not saying First-Team All-Big Ten but every spot has a player with NFL potential. The offensive line could have multiple first-round picks, while Erick All is also a guy that’s getting drafted next season along with Cornelius Johnson.

Ronnie Bell, another future pro, is back and sounds better than ever athletically, at least according to his times, and both Donovan Edwards and Andrel Anthony are poised for breakout seasons.

Edwards and Anthony could be the next Braylon Edwards/Chris Perry. Blake Corum could be a Heisman contender and McNamara, the “point guard” who doesn’t turn the ball over, seems to be an afterthought.

Folks might be worried about the defense, but this offense should have a chance to score 40 points a game in 2022 and that’s even with the “run the damn ball” philosophy remaining intact.
