PF: Terrance Williams, Youssef Khayat, Will Tschetter

Michigan basketball has eight former top-100 recruits on its roster and Terrance Williams is one of them. He’s also probably the most underrated.

Williams is 6-foot-6 and that’s always been one of his biggest knocks. If he was 6-foot-9, he likely would have been a top-50 prospect. He’s a 3/4 forward and not a true power forward but he’ll fit great next to Dickinson.

Not only did those two play together before they got to Michigan, but Williams has a knack for getting Dickinson the ball in high-low situations. He also shot 38 percent last season on 52 attempts and playing the stretch four role should be perfect if he can continue to consistently knock down treys.

Williams will need to improve as a defender to lock down that starting job though. That’s where Khayat could have an advantage early in his Michigan career. However, it’s going to take time to adjust to the college game for him and that’s why I see Williams starting.

Will Tschetter should also get some playing time this season, but defense is going to be key. However, he’s a stellar shooter and that should get him some opportunities in 2022-23.
