SF: Jett Howard, Joey Baker, Youssef Khayat

Joey Baker might not be a replacement for Caleb Houstan, but Jett Howard certainly is and I think you can make a strong case that he’ll have a better freshman season than Houstan.

I just don’t see Jett being as intimidated by college basketball as Houstan was. He’s not as good a shooter as Houstan but Jett is a stellar shooter from both the perimeter and the mid-range. He’s also a better defender than given credit for.

Outside of Dickinson and Llewellyn, I expect Jett to be third in minutes played next season and he’s got a good chance to be the second-leading scorer.

Baker will get some minutes and could even play some at the two. Khayat should also get some run at the three and you could easily see a lineup of Llewellyn, Jett, Youssef, T-Will, and Dickinson.

It seems like Youssef will get most of his minutes at the four. The same with Terrance Williams and that’s just because of depth and the fact that Jett Howard needs to play, a lot next season.
