Does Michigan Football have a contingency plan at QB in 2023?

Option #2: Attempt to flip a QB from a lesser program
This sometimes can be easier said than done as sometimes recruits do like being committed to programs that showed them the love and loyalty from the start, whereas Michigan would clearly be circling back to them as a fallback option.
Still, Michigan football is a prominent program and there’s likely to be several quarterbacks who might jump at the opportunity to play for a more competitive, prestigious program.
Among that group, some candidates that stick out as worthwhile players for Michigan to explore a flip for would be thirteenth-ranked QB Austin Novosad (TX), a Baylor commit recently offered by Ohio State, twenty sixth-ranked QB Brady Drogosh (MI), committed to Cincinnati, and possibly even eleventh-ranked Rickie Collins (LA), committed to Purdue.
Again, while Michigan football may be a bigger brand and program than some of these other teams, it is not always a given that a player will flip simply because Michigan finally came calling.
Some might, some may not. But it would be a worthwhile avenue to explore if the worst case comes to be with Moore.
