We take a look at who has been on campus for Michigan football this month and who will be visiting as part of “Victors Weekend.”

Last weekend, Michigan football hosted a lot of recruits and built some very positive momentum with the likes of Frederick Moore, Collins Acheampong, Semaj Bridgeman, and many others, as I wrote about here.

Recruiting never sleeps in the world of college football though, and this weekend, tasked as “Victors” Weekend, will be the biggest recruiting event until the BBQ at the Big House next month, and there will be a ton of prospects, both on official and unofficial visits.

Here’s the list of recruits expected to come, including the guys already committed to Michigan football as of right now.

Side note: In case you missed the last update, I have you covered. Here is a brief overview of the guys that visited last weekend. Also, I’ve put a star symbol next to all the recruits Michigan has the best chance of getting. Those recruits you should be paying attention to the most.

(Rankings via the On3 consensus)

June 10-12th

*-Christian Brothers College (MO) Jeremiyah Love- Four star, 66 overall (Michigan is recruiting him as a DB, and we’ve discussed him in prior articles)

*-Fairmount Prep Academy (CA) Collins Archeampong- Four-star, No. 349 overall,

-Buford (GA) Paul Mubenga- Three-star, No. 532 overall

-Liberty (NV) My’Keil Gardner- Three-star, No. 369 overall

*-Kanakee (IL) Jyaire Hill- Four-star, No. 327 overall

*-Hun School (NJ) Logan Howland- Three-star

*-Cardinal Ritter (MO) Frederick Moore- Three-star, No. 515 overall

*-Strake Jesuit (TX) Chico Holt (will receive a significant ratings boost eventually, I guarantee it) Three-star- No. 857 overall

-Osceola (FL) John Walker- Four-star, No. 93 overall

-Glenbard West (IL) Christopher Terek- Three star, No. 1,133 overall

I know you all see a bunch of three stars. We’ve mentioned countless times on this site that this is part of Michigan football’s strategy.  The Wolverines trust their evaluations. Plus, some of these guys WILL be diamonds in the rough, I guarantee it.

Also, as I mentioned about Chico Holt, some of these guys will receive a massive rankings boost when the next update comes out, so some of these three stars will turn into four stars.

I don’t think I need to mention again that Hassan Haskins was a three-star. So was Ryan Hayes. One was just drafted and the other will be drafted in the 2023 draft.

-Pennridge (PA) Phil Picciotti- Three-star, No. 452 overall,

June 17-19th -“Victors” Weekend

-DeMatha Catholic (MD) Jason Moore- Four-star, No. 46 overall

-North Cobb (GA) Benjamin Hall (committed)- Three-star, No. 657 overall

-Loyola Academy (IL) Brooks Bahr (committed)- Three-star, No. 542 overall

-Spring Valley (NV) Kelze Howard- Three-star, No. 535 overall

*-Oswego (IL) Deakon Tonielli- Three-star, No. 470 overall

*-Trinity Christian (GA) Aaron Gates- Four-star, No. 287 overall

-Ferndale (WA) Landen Hatchett- Three-star, No. 907 overall

June 20th

*-DeSoto (TX) Johntay Cook II- Four-star, No. 32 overall

June 24th

-Lehigh Senior (FL) Kelton Henderson- Four-star, No. 382 overall

-University Lab (LA) Jaiden Ausberry- Four-star, No. 82 overall

-Henderson County (KY) Saadiq Clements- Three-star, No. 796 overall

Obviously, with recruiting, everything is fluid. Plans change, and things happen, but this is the list of visitors for the rest of the month, with “Victors” Weekend the biggest event remaining in June.

Obviously, all of these recruits won’t commit to the Wolverines but Michigan football is in a good to great position with a lot of these guys. There will probably be some surprise visitors taking unofficial visits that won’t make this list as well.

Overall, I’d say the Wolverines are in a great position to earn the commitments (whether it’s soon or months from now) of 13 guys, just from going back and counting this list. Maybe it’s more, maybe it’s less.

The 13 guys are Jeremiyah Love, Collins Acheampong, Frederick Moore, Chico Holt, Jaxon Howard, Enow Etta, Joseph Mupoyi, Aaron Gates, Deakon Tonelli, Johntay Cook II, Semaj Bridgeman, Cayden Green, and a guy like Logan Howland and/or Jyaire Hill.

5 bold predictions for Michigan football in 2022. dark. Next

Hopefully, Michigan football can get some of these guys to pull the trigger and commit because it’s been three months since the last commitment and the Wolverines need momentum.
