Michigan football is hosting a huge recruiting weekend and here’s a look at each recruit coming to campus as well as the chances of a commitment.

Back in 2017, the NCAA made the decision to allow recruits to use some of their official visits during the summer window, part of several decisions that have ultimately sped up the timeline for many top-ranked recruits.

Michigan football is set to host a handful of visitors this weekend, with twelve different recruits set to use an official visit to take in the Wolverines’ program.

The highest-ranked of these recruits is four-star tight Luke Hasz out of Oklahoma, currently committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks.

And while the Wolverines will certainly be hoping to make a notable impact on every recruit in attendance, it does seem like a certain few could be candidates to commit to the Wolverines if the visit goes well.

We are going to dive into the recruitments of the prospects visiting and ultimately get an idea if Michigan could realistically come out of this weekend with a commitment…or three.

3* OT Logan Howland (NJ)

Do not be fooled by the unranked 247Sports Composite Profile, as Howland is in high demand if his offer sheet is any indication. He has some noteworthy offers from offensive line factories such as Michigan, Iowa, Boston College, and Oklahoma, along with offers from other prominent programs like Miami, Penn State, and Michigan State.

Howland is very high up on Michigan football’s board, and has Michigan very high on his as well, naming them to his top-four that he released back in May, along with Miami, Iowa, and Oklahoma.

Howland could certainly be a candidate to wrap things up fairly soon, as well, already completing a visit to Oklahoma last weekend, and set to see each of his remaining finalists in the month of June, concluding with Miami and Iowa after Michigan this weekend.

Overall, if the Wolverines can impress Howland, they’ll have a very good opportunity at wrapping things up with him not too far down the road.
