4-star DB Jyaire Hill

Another player that Michigan football has been trending in the right direction with is newly-minted four-star recruit according to the On3.com consensus rankings Jyaire Hill.

Hill is another recruit out of Illinois and he’s 6-foot-1, 170 pounds and ranked as the No. 13 overall athlete in the 2023 recruiting class as well as the fourth-best player in Illinois.

The Wolverines like him as a safety/nickel corner. He’s someone they view as a little bit like Daxton Hill with the ability to play multiple positions in college.

While Auburn recently offered and made plans to host Hill for an unofficial visit, he’s scheduled to make an official visit to Michigan football on June 10th and that’s when the Wolverines will try once again to close.

They have been pushing for a commitment from Hill and they haven’t gotten one yet but the On3 prediction machine gives Michigan football a better than 90 percent chance of winning this recruitment and maybe, Hill will be the guy to jumpstart things with a pledge in June.
