3-star OT Logan Howland

One name that was on our list of possible commitments last month was four-star offensive lineman Amir Herring. He was supposed to take an official visit to Michigan this month, but that’s off for now and it seems as though someone like Logan Howland may have surpassed him on the O-line recruiting board.

Howland, like Terek, is a fast-riser and recently named Michigan football among his fop four teams with Miami, Iowa, and Oklahoma also in the mix.

Howland will visit Ann Arbor next weekend and the Wolverines currently lead according to the prediction machine but it’s tight.

However, the 6-foot-6, 280-pounder reminds me a lot of Ryan Hayes and Michigan should be able to sell the New Jersey product on its O-line development, which gives me the confidence to think the Wolverines could win this recruitment by the end of the month.

It’s going to take some impressive work on his official visit, yet with Sherrone Moore and Grant Newsome working on him, this is a recruitment that’s very winnable.
