Momentum is starting to build

Michigan football has over 30 official visits set up for the month of June and while some are players already committed to U-M, most are top targets in the 2023 class.

On Victors Weekend, the Wolverines are expected to have 13 visitors in for official visits and while those aren’t commitments or anything, the fact that Michigan is getting so many priorities on campus is only going to lead to good things.

There’s no doubt that Michigan squandered some of its recruiting momentum after the playoff due to coaching turnover and the Harbaugh to NFL saga.

But this staff is starting to find its groove. Mike Elston has been going a great job with edge/D-Line targets and the same can be said for targets across the board. Ron Bellamy, Clink, Jay Harbaugh, Sherrone Moore, and George Helow have all been stellar.

Helow is the main reason Raylen Wilson is still committed to Michigan football and if the Wolverines hold his commitment, that will be a big reason why.

Despite a lack of commitments, momentum is starting to build, the board is starting to take shape and Michigan should start landing some commitments soon.
