Juwan Howard loves it at Michigan

Lastly, Juwan Howard loves the University of Michigan. Juwan has already talked at length about how much Michigan means to him, and the brotherhood and family culture that he tries to instill. You can tell that Juwan just wants Michigan to continue to be successful.

I mean, yeah, Juwan has been over-the-top a few times, but he just wants to win and wants Michigan basketball to be the very best program that it can be. He’s not about to throw the stability that he has here (as long as no more violent incidents occur) out the window just to go to a much worse situation with seemingly no easy resolution in sight.

Personally, I think Juwan Howard will remain at Michigan at least until Jace Howard and Jett Howard have gone through Michigan and moved on with the rest of their lives. Can we determine how many years that may be?

No, of course not, but, just going off a rough guess, I’d say at least three more seasons. That may not seem like a lot of time, but by then, Juwan would have completed his seventh season at Michigan (same as Jim was when almost took the Minnesota job FYI) and would have a much better feel of whether he would want to stay at Michigan longer or seek new opportunities.

I also get the feeling that Juwan really wants to win at least one national championship before he leaves Michigan basketball.

It could happen this upcoming season. It could be next season, it could be whenever, but Juwan can get the Wolverines that elusive national title. Michigan basketball really needs it, especially the Big Ten with this title drought (going on 23 years and counting).

So, with all of that being said, why would Juwan Howard want to leave?
