Prediction #2: Donovan Edwards out-rushes Blake Corum

Let’s not get it twisted, both Donovan Edwards and Blake Corum are talented guys. But Edwards possesses that superstar ceiling that comes around once every blue moon.

Having that Hassan Haskins-esque strength coupled with the top-end speed that rivals some of the fastest Wolverines in recent memory (see Jabrill Peppers and Jehu Chesson), Donovan has a great chance to impress fans and coaches alike in Michigan football’s spring game.

Edwards brings so much to the table in not only the run game but the entire offense in general. The dynamic playmaking ability he possesses is something we haven’t seen around these parts in a long time, if ever. He’s going to have a big day and it shouldn’t come as a shock to you or me.

For those reasons, I truly believe he will lead all backs in rushing yards on the day. Don’t be surprised if he has a big-time run resulting in a score either.
