3. The turnout was relatively scarce following 2021’s success

Despite winning the Big Ten conference and making it all the way to the College Football playoff, not many packed the house at Michigan stadium.

Perhaps it was because of the chilly weather or how you felt about the Colin Kaepernick sighting in the building or maybe people were just legitimately busy on a spring Saturday in Ann Arbor, a larger crowd could have been expected in my opinion.

Tavierre Dunlap had himself a solid outing with a touchdown and around 70 yards unofficially. He or Leon Franklin will look to solidify the open running back slot behind Donovan Edwards and Blake Corum.

For those that got to see it they caught a glimpse of some standout freshman making plays, a thrilling quarterback battle for the third man up in that group, and an initial outlook at what could be in store for the 2022 version of Michigan football.

With a favorable schedule and the fact that the Wolverines are coming off of their first Big Ten championship in 17 years, building off the positive momentum of 2021 will be a must for Harbaugh and company in 22.
