Joseph Bamisile, George Washington

The biggest need Michigan basketball has to fill this offseason, regardless of position, is shooting. Michigan was terribly inconsistent shooting the ball and while the (hopeful) return of Caleb Houstan, plus the addition of Jett Howard should help, the Wolverines need to add shooters in the transfer portal.

And another shooting guard that makes a ton of sense is Joseph Bamisile from George Washington. He averaged 16.5 points per game last season and shot 42 percent from the field as well as connecting on 35 percent of his treys (two makes per game).

Bamisile is 6-foot-4 and even though his defense isn’t quite as good as the first two guards on this list, his defensive rating is just over 100. And his offensive ability could certainly help make up for that.

Bamisile attempted 5.7 3-pointers per game, so he’s a volume shooter and he would be a great option to have on the perimeter. Add him to a depth chart that also features Houstan, Howard, and Diabate down low, and you might be onto something.
