With spring ball in full swing now, Michigan football fans will soon glimpse the running back room in Ann Arbor. After handling what was likely the best RB-room in the nation in 2021, the Wolverines look even more dangerous on paper heading into the coming season.

Blake Corum

It does not take much for one to see how talented the Wolverines’ running back room currently is — with a combination of speed, agility, and tough running, Michigan football is once again poised to have one of the nation’s top rushing attacks.

Blake Corum will be entering his third season with the Wolverines and brings quite a bit to the table as far as production goes. Corum will likely be one of (if not the) the Big Ten’s best pass-catching backs and seems to have a nose for the end zone.

Before being injured midway through the 2021 season, Corum was one of many early-season Heisman candidates. Despite Corum’s injury, the junior running back still finished the season with nearly 1,000 rushing yards and allowed the Wolverines’ offense to become even more versatile.

Known for being a leader on and off the field, Corum will likely come back even stronger than before and may become one of the most dangerous backs in all of college football. As a junior, Corum is also Michigan’s most experienced running back and is almost guaranteed to be the starter against Colorado State in week one.
