Michigan Football: Breaking down former Wolverines’ Pro Day results
By Kylie Piazza
Josh Ross
Linebacker Josh Ross did not have too impressive of an NFL combine, so he participated in five of the six drills at Michigan’s Pro Day to hopefully better his results. The broad jump was the only drill he did not participate in Friday, the drill that he finished last in among linebackers at the combine.
Ross ran a 4.81 second 40-yard dash, a 7.65 second 3-cone dril, and a 4.60 second 20-yard shuttle. None of these times were super impressive compared to other linebackers. While Ross did not participate in the broad jump at pro day, he did increase his vertical jump from 31 inches at the combine to 33.5 inches at pro day.
Rounding out his pro day results with 17 reps in the bench press, Ross did not have any groundbreaking results in either the combine or pro day. However, his presence on the field will likely be enough for NFL teams to develop interest in him and help develop him into a better athlete.
