Donovan Jeter

Defensive tackle Donovan Jeter played in four seasons with the Michigan football program and started in four games. In his 37 games with the Wolverines, Jeter had 38 tackles, 24 of which came in his 14 games this past season.

At Michigan’s Pro Day, Jeter showed some impressive statistics that will hopefully help him when it comes to NFL exposure. Jeter had 26 reps in the bench press which is a high amount compared to tackles who participated in this drill at the NFL Combine.

Jeter had pretty average results in the speed drills, with a 5.13-second 40-yard dash, a 7.80-second 3-cone drill, and a 4.88-second 20-yard shuttle. While Jeter jumped an 8 foot and 8 inch broad jump, his most impressive result was his 31 inch vertical jump which only scored behind four defensive tackles from the combine.

While Jeter is not a very sought after player right now, he has a lot of talent and athleticism that could benefit from NFL training. He will hopefully find himself being picked up as an undrafted free agent.
