Chris Hinton

Defensive tackle Chris Hinton decided to split up his participation in drills evenly between the NFL Combine and Michigan’s Pro Day.

At the combine, Hinton participated in the 40-yard dash, the vertical jump, and the broad day. At Pro Day, he partook in the bench press, the cone drill, and the 20-yard shuttle.

Hinton’s results at the combine were slightly below-average compared to other defensive tackles. The same can be said of his pro day results when comparing his cone drill time of 7.90 seconds and his 20-yard shuttle time of 4.85 seconds. While only three defensive tackles participated in the bench press at the combine, Hinton’s 25 reps at pro day look to be above average.

Hinton is projected as a fifth round draft pick and will likely benefit from NFL training in order to best showcase his talents at the next level.
