Junior Colson

Even though Junior Colson was a top-100 recruit when he signed with Michigan football, I still felt like he was underrated coming to the Wolverines and he made an impact right away.

Eventually, he became a starter for Michigan football and is projected to have that role as an inside linebacker heading into next season after notching 60 tackles, two pass breakups, and a couple of plays in the backfield in 2021.

Colson was formerly a wide receiver before he moved to linebacker and even returned a kickoff for a touchdown in his senior year of high school.

Colson is a dynamic athlete and is a true three-down linebacker. I love how he can do it all at the position and I think he’s a future first-team All-Big Ten defender.

Maybe even in 2022.
