Dax Hill- Safety | Grade: 6.33

Dax Hill was a huge component of the Michigan football secondary throughout his career with the Wolverines, but most specifically in the 2021 season. Hill is known for his speed, and he only further proved this at the combine.

Dax had the fastest time of any safety in two of the speed drills, completing the three-cone drill in 6.57 seconds and the 20 yard shuttle in 4.06 seconds. Hill also had the second-fastest overall times in both of these drills. His 40-yard dash was also pretty impressive as he had the fourth-fastest time among safeties at 4.38 seconds.

Hill’s vertical and broad jumps were both on the shorter end compared to other safeties at the combine, however, they were still pretty impressive. He jumped 33.5 inches in the vertical jump and 121 inches in the broad jump.

Dax Hill was an electric player for Michigan football and his performance at the combine hopefully shows NFL teams that he is capable of doing the same at a professional level. He is projected to be a first-round pick and will be a great addition to whatever team he gets drafted to.
