Harbaugh stumbled but did not fall

Jim Harbaugh has tested the NFL waters over the course of the past two months, even interviewing with an NFL team on National Signing Day.

This lack of faithfulness to the Wolverines has led both the media and Michigan’s fans to wonder if Harbaugh may leave for the NFL in the future, but the long-time Michigan Man says he is staying where he belongs.

"“In a nutshell, I love Michigan,” Harbaugh said. “I love every player. I love every family.” – Jim Harbaugh on his decision to stay at Michigan"

Jim Harbaugh is building something special at Michigan. For years, his team has been one game away from a Big Ten title and a playoff appearance, yet the hurdle of Ohio State had been too much for the Wolverines until last season.

Now that Michigan has gotten over the Ohio State hump, the sky is the limit for Harbaugh and the Wolverines. In 2022, Michigan football will look to win a second-straight Big Ten title, the program’s 44th conference title, and will again be in pursuit of a victory over the Buckeyes.

If the Wolverines had lost Jim Harbaugh, both of those goals would seem unobtainable; however, with Harbaugh at the helm and quite a few returning seniors, Michigan will undoubtedly be looking to make another run at the playoff.
