2. Hunter Dickinson was in a zone like no other

The sensational sophomore had himself a day to remember in the 18-point vanquishing of the Hoosiers. He started heating up early and often in the second half especially. When all was said and done he scored 18 of his team-high 25 points in the second stanza. Dickinson showed Indiana and the rest of the Big Ten why he was a preseason All-American heading into this season.

Indiana’s tallest guy to cover him was Michael Durr. He was no match, as was the rest of the Hoosier roster when it came to trying to guard Michigan’s big man. Their lack of size hurt them today and in last year’s loss which was also in Bloomington. Dickinson had 13 and seven boards in that one as well.

Dickinson has pretty much been on a tear ever since the North Carolina loss. In particular his shooting, rebounds, and point total have gone up in the past two wins.

With Dickinson playing like this and a couple of other guys pulling their weight, on any given night Michigan basketball can be very hard to beat. On a sour note though, he committed four fouls, but it didn’t affect the outcome of the affair.
