Playoff caliber offense?

In 2022, the Wolverines will likely return nine of eleven starters on offense and five of eleven on defense.

On offense, Michigan’s most considerable losses are running back Hassan Haskins and offensive lineman Andrew Vastardis. In their place, the Wolverines will depend on junior running back Blake Corum and graduate transfer center Olusegun Oluwatimi.

The offense will likely look very similar in 2022. There could be a new face under center as J.J. McCarthy will have an opportunity to compete with senior Cade McNamara for the starting spot this off-season.

Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards have the potential to give Michigan the best running back room in the Big Ten once again. Both are hard runners and great receiving backs and will help take the pressure off of the passing offense regardless of who is under center.

Michigan football will return all of its starting receivers including senior Ronnie Bell, who sat out of the 2021 season with a torn ACL which he suffered in Week 1 against Western Michigan.
